Dear Students, The government’s freelancer training program E-Rozgaar, is now accepting admissions. This initiative aims to reduce unemployment in Pakistan by enabling youngsters to become self-sufficient. Moreover it will also help Youth Of Pakistan Become Self Employed And Self Sustainable By Training Them In Earning Income Through Internet.

You can apply for the E-Rozgaar program in one of the following 5 districts:

Sahiwal
Gujrat
Jhelum
Taxila
Sialkot

Please Note : The last date to apply is 22nd October 2017.

About The Program

E-Rozgaar aims to teach the youth to sustain themselves financially by earning money on the internet. The program will train the candidates to enhance their professional capabilities and give them opportunities for self-employment. The program has centers in 36 districts of Punjab.

Selection Criteria for Candidates

Registration will be online, followed by verification of degree through the concerned Registrar of the University.
The services of Higher Education Commission will also be required for the verification of degrees submitted by the applicants.
Candidates already shortlisted in the previous batch who were unable to join classes due to any reason, can apply again using the existing CNIC but they have to sit for the test again to qualify.
After completing the test, they can update the existing information in the application form.
Those candidates who joined classes and signed undertaking cannot apply again for the next batch.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate must have completed 16 years of education
Age should be between 22 to 35 years
Good Academic Record
Good Writing and Communication Skills
Should be Self-Motivated and Self-Driven
Clear & categorical preference shall be given to those who have passed their degree and have hands on experience on basic computer concepts.
The candidates are required to join the program on full-time basis and follow given rules & regulations of the program.
Management will also conduct online test/short interview of each candidate before the training.
Management reserves the right to cancel/reject any application without giving any reason.
Decision of management cannot be challenged in any court/platform.
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for training.

What is e-Rozgaar Programme?

e-Rozgaar is an initiative by Government of the Punjab, under the leadership of its Chief Minister with the objective of providing training opportunities to youth to minimize unemployment using internet based freelancing. The Programme is specially designed for the unemployed youth so that they can obtain freelancing training to enhance their skills, which will allow them to earn an honorable earning online and shall facilitate in a secure livelihood in the long term.

What is the eligibility criterion for selection in the programme?

Candidate must have complete 16 years of education
Must have a valid CNIC
Should have domicile of Punjab
Good writing and communication skills
Minimum age to apply is 22 years and maximum age to apply is 35 years.

What are the documents required to fulfill the application criteria?

Following documents will be required for the application

Copy of graduation transcript or degree

Valid CNIC & Punjab Domicile

Can I apply in more than one course track?

No, one can not apply for more than course track.Please make sure you select the right course track successfully.

After successfully completing the training, will I be given any certificate?

All trainees who successfully complete the training, will be awarded a training certificate.

Can I shift my classes to some other district?

No, you will have to choose your training center carefully at the time of applying

Will I have to pay any dues for Training?

No, You do not have to pay any dues for erozgaar Training.

Will I be offered any stipend?

No stipend will be given.

What will be the duration of training Programme?

3.5 Months

I am currently doing a job. Can I still apply for the training?

No, because timing of training is in working hours

Will you provide transport facility or TA/DA?

No, transport facility or TA/DA will not be provided.

I am enrolled in an undergraduate programme. Am I eligible to apply?

No, if you are enrolled in an undergraduate programme you are not eligible to apply.

I do not have a personal lap or computer. Can I apply?

Yes, you may apply

What is the duration of the test?

The duration of the online test is 30 minutes.

What will happen once I am registered for Chief Minister's erozgaar programme?

Wait for the short listing email after successful registration.

Will I be getting Email / SMS alert for test credentials?

Yes you will getting Sms Alert and Email ( Make sure you check your spam and junk mail, in case the email landed there).

What if I don't receive email?

In case you have not received an email from us at all, please ensure you have registered with your correct email ID. You have the option to correct your email ID after logging it from the details sent via sms alert .

What will happen after short listing ?

The Final selection will be made after the submission of documents online. Date will be communicated via email to visit the respective Training Center for the verification of original documents and to sign joining undertaking.
