Virtual University of Pakistan ( VU ) requires the services of bright and motivated individuals, on Adhoc basis for a period of six (06) months for the following positions.
There are 2 Positions Available. Details are given Below:
1. LECTURER (Multiple Positions):
Lahore: Biochemistry/ Zoology/ Bioinformatics/ Microbiology/ Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology/ Biological Sciences
Multan: Biochemistry/Molecular Biology/ Bioinformatics/ Biotechnology/ Biological Sciences
Pay Scale: J-I
Qualification: M.Phil. / M.S. or equivalent degree awarded after 18 years of education or master degree from a foreign
University in the relevant field with no 3rd Division in the academic career from an HEC recognized University / Institution.
Experience: At least 4 years post qualification teaching /research experience in a recognized university or a post-graduate
institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a national or international organization.
Command over English
and IT proficiency are required.
2. TUTOR / INSTRUCTOR (Multiple Positions):
Lahore: Biochemistry/ Zoology/ Bioinformatics/ Microbiology/ Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology/ Biological Sciences
Multan: Biochemistry/Molecular Biology/ Bioinformatics/ Biotechnology/ Biological Sciences
Karachi: Biochemistry/ Zoology/ Microbiology/ Molecular Biology/ Biological Sciences
Rawalpindi: Biochemistry/ Zoology/ Microbiology/ Molecular Biology/ Biological Sciences
Pay Scale: J-III
Qualification & Experience: M.Phil. / M.S. or equivalent degree awarded after 18 years of education or master degree
from a foreign University in the relevant field with no 3rd Division in the academic career from an HEC recognized
University / Institution. Command over English and IT proficiency are required.

- The age of superannuation is 60 years.
- Those already in the government /semi-government service or autonomous bodies will be required to bring ‘No Objection Certificate (NOC)’ from their current employer, at the time of interview.
- It is mandatory to upload/attach your detailed CV (please mention clearly Division/CGPA of all academic record and also mention Experience/ Research details) alongwith the application.
- Only eligible/Short listed candidates will be contacted individually via registered post or via call for test / interview.
- No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in test/Interview.
- Virtual University of Pakistan reserves the right to reject any or all applications, without assigning any reason
