How to Make SRS Document of CS619 Final Project

Dear Students, in this article we will discuss How to Make SRS Document of CS619 Final Project. The SRS document is the first phase of the project. SRS stands for Software Requirements Specification. SRS Template / Format is given in LMS and also attached to the email. We need to follow SRS Template to prepare this document. Previously we shared CS619 Final Project Semester Calendar Schedule for Fall 2017.

There is 6 table of contents. Here we try to explain in simple words

Scope: Write scope of project, benefits, application type,

Functional/nonfunctional requirements: what type of functions this project will perform, what type of software needed to develop this, and system requirements

Use case Diagram: how much actor, functions of each actor.

Usage Scenario: Write a scenario of all use case

Adopted Methodology: VU process model combination of waterfall and spiral

Work Plan / Gantt Chart: Need to draw a schedule of all phases and graphs in ms excel or ms project and add screen short in the file.
