ISL201 Final Term Exam Syllabus and Tips:

Today i am going to share with you ISL201 Tips and Final term Exam Syllabus. 
Almost 70% paper will be comprised on 9 to 16 lectures and 30% on 1 to 8 lectures.

Listen lectures very carefully and note down each point for the preparation of MCQs.

Note down the translation of verses which are included in handouts and video lectures.

Read handouts and write down each point for the preparation of MCQs and subjective questions of 3 and 5 marks.

You should also prepare the following type questions:
Define the given term like prayer, oneness of Allah, zakat, fast, honesty, brotherhood, universal brotherhood, society, obedience, worship, etiquettes, knowledge, information and morality etc. 

“Explain the following verse”

“Explain the following hadith”
 
“Give a verse or verses (translation) on the following topic” like importance of education, anger, importance of prayer or fast, truthfulness, obedience of parents, honesty, brotherhood and oneness of Allah etc.
 
“Give one or two hadith (translation) on the above mentioned topic”
 
“Translate the following verse or verses”
 
Note down the translation of different verse which are included in handouts.
 
Translation of verses and hadith is enough, Arabic text is not required.
Note: You can attempt paper of ISL201 in Urdu, English or roman Urdu (like ap ka kea haal h). But MCQs can attempt only in English.
Try to give answer in the form of points (it is depend on the nature of question). 
Most of the questions of three marks required three points and five points are required for 5 marks questions.

Paper will be comprised of MCQs and descriptive questions of 3 and 5 marks.

Assignments: 5%
Quizzes: 5%
GDB: 5%
Midterm: 35%
Final term: 50%

Virtual University Mid term Exams duration range from 60 minutes to 90 minutes for final term Exams. Each question has a known correct answer.

Total duration of exam is 60 minutes.
15 to 20 total MCQs (1 mark). Some course has 30 to 35 total MCQs (1 mark).
1 to 5 written questions of 2 to 3 marks each.
1 question of 10 marks / 2 questions of 5 mark each.
100% Questions from 23 lectures.

Virtual University (VU) Final Term exams Pattern

Total duration of exam is 90 minutes.
30 to 35 total MCQs (1 mark). Some course has 40 to 50 total MCQs (1 mark).
5 to 10 written questions of 2 to 3 marks each.
1 question of 10 marks / 2 questions of 5 mark each.
70% Questions from 23 – 45 lectures.
30% Questions from 1 – 23 lectures.

How to use the VU Exam Software

Duration of paper:
Mid Term : 60 minutes
Final Term : 120 minutes

Login the exam software by entering Student ID and Exam Password(mentioned on your “Exam Entrance Slip”).

Please note:

Exam Software shall automatically close when the prescribed time is over. You areadvised to save your data frequently in order to prevent any data loss. •In case you are asked by the examiner to close your paper on technical grounds, youmust close it through browser close button [ ] and NOT through the “Finish”button.

Don’t copy image directly from paint. Instead, first copy the image into MS Word, thenpaste it in the Exam Software.

How to Calculate Your CGPA - Step by Step Tutorial

Here are Step by Step Instructions for How to Calculate Your CGPA. i will try to make it easy for you to understand.

Calculate Your CGPA Step # 1 

Determine the total number of credit hours you have attempted. For example, after two semesters you might have attempted 24 credit hours. This figure can be found on an official transcript from your school.

Calculate Your CGPA Step # 2 

Determine the total number of grade points you have earned. For example, you might have earned 72 grade points in two semesters. As with the number of credit hours attempted, this figure can be found on your school transcript.

Calculate Your CGPA Step # 3 

Enter the number of grade points earned and credit hours attempted into the CGPA formula: Grade points earned divided by credit hours attempted equals cumulative grade point average. Using the example figures, this would be: 72 grade points earned divided by 24 credit hours attempted equals cumulative grade point average.

Apply the CGPA formula using the figures you have entered to calculate your CGPA.

CGPA=SUMMATION (summation)

What is GPA?

GPA is the ratio of the sum of the products of the number of credits of courses registered and the grade points corresponding to the grades scored in those courses, taken for all the courses, to the sum of the number of credits of all the courses in the semester.
